To log in to webmail, go to https://apps.rackspace.com/.
Enter the email address in the space provided
enter the email account password
Click on Login
Rackspace email provides the following options:
Remember this info– To remember your login information every time you login in to the email ,select this checkbox.
Use SSL– SSL stands for Secure Socket Layer, which means when you log in, your data is encrypted. Click on the checkbox to enable SSL.
Change a Rackspace Email mailbox password
It is common that each user can forget the passwords that are incorrect. Rackspace's email reset password is easy even though it always changes the password for security reasons or if the user forgets his email account password.
Below are the steps to reset or retrieve the password to access the Rackspace Email mailbox. For Webmail users, and for administrators through the Cloud Office Control Panel.
Reset password through webmail
1) Log in to an email account with apps.rackspace.com from any browser:
Note: Typically your password will be remembered when you select the "Remember this information" checkbox. If you do not need to enter the password immediately. If you forgot the password check "Rackspace Email password recovery FAQ".
2) From the menu click "Settings" from the top of the right corner.
3) From the Settings menu, click "Change Password".
In the next screen input the following information:
Current Password: Type the current password you used to access the mailbox.
New Password: Type the new password you want to change.
Sort Password: Enter a new password.
Resetting the user should log into the Cloud Office Control Panel section.
Click Mailboxes from Rackspace Email.
In the mailbox list, click the name of the mailbox you want to change the password.
Click on the button “RESET PASSWORD” below the email address.
In the next screen a box will appear to enter the New Password two times to Confirm Password.
